Alright so, I'll introduce myself real quickly since I just joined and this is my first post. My name is Aura and I'm a trainee from GeeksToGo :)

So I wanted to check out WTT forum today, but when I accessed it, all the formatting was messed up and the CSS wouldn't load as well. After a few troubleshooting tricks, I identified the root of the issue : uBlock. If I disable it, the website loads just fine for me, with all it's beautiful colors and formatting :)

Is it possible to know the URLs used to load the CSS and Javascript, so I can white-list them in uBlock for WTT ? Or is this not needed since there's no ads at all on the forum?

Thank you!

Hey Ztruker, nice to see you here ! :)

That's good then, I'll keep it like it is. Still a weird behavior from uBlock.

Google Chrome. uBlock is a popular light-weight Adblocker for Google Chrome. It takes way less resources than any other Adblocker like Adblock and Adblock Plus. I've been trying it for two weeks now and it works very well. Except that small issue here, I didn't encounter a single problem with it. Also, it's fully customizable to the root and you can add your own rules, exceptions, etc.

I don't (and won't) use Chrome, guess that's why I never heard of it. Hopefully some of our Chrome users can help.

Well, I'll just disable it on WTT since it's ad-free once you register. However, I could leave it enabled, all I need is to add the CDN domains URLs to the exception list to make it work. That's what I asked in the first post, but it won't be needed I guess. Just thought I would let people here know :)

had a similar problem myself using adblock+ in firefox, goes as away as soon as i loggged in and everything looked correct, so it wasn't just related to ublock but seemed to be a problem with all adblockers.

saying that tho today is the first time everything looked correct before logging in since the last site update so whatever the problem was it seems to have been fixed now.

If I enable uBlock in on this page, there's apparently 5 "ads" that are blocked, which I doubt is the case when you login on WTT, it's ad-free :o
