Need to reformat hard drive

I am also trying to figure out why videos won' run on my Facebook page. I downloaded Adobe Flash player form their site. I thought that might be the problem, but wasn't. There are three lines moving across each video in a loading sequence, but nothing happens. Is it a security setting perhaps?  Suzy
