Hallo again.

I can't locate any material on the following:

Situation: excel worksheet with c. 5 columns and 500 rows; activated modal user_form with code causing a re-sorting of the rows.

Aim: note the data set containing the selected cells (the cell-values__not the range) and return the selection to the data set's new range after the sorting procedure is completed.

Have workaround in place involving populating an additional cell in the column outside the functional sorting range with a unique value. This is then searched for and selected after the sorting. Works in principle, but is clumsy and leaves lots of footprints in the debugging phase.

Anybody have a more elegant method? Possibly with greater flexibility ('cos I would like to be able to re-access any one of three opr four previously selected cells (again: content and not range.address)?

Thanks for reading this already.
