I have a windows 7 64 bit computer; IE 9.0 keeps freezing in normal startup mode but works fine in safe mode. I scanned for virus and malware but no infections found. I have included the hijack this log file fir assistance, thanks.

Looks like you have many add-on toolbars in IE. Get rid of all of them and it will probably run much better. Google. Bing, Ask, Yahoo, etc. Start IE, click on Tools then Manage Add-ons. Disable everything except Flash. Close IE then start it again and see if it's any better.
