Adobe Adobe has released a critical security update for its Flash Player and Adobe AIR
software that fixes at least seven dangerous vulnerabilities in these products.

Did you know that users can download the necessary installation media for Flash Player updates directly from Adobe's Distribution page?

More folks will be familiar with using the Adobe Download Center, but you will also notice that the Adobe Download Center pushes other products such as Chrome browser and sometimes McAfee antivirus products unless you are careful to remove the checkmark/ticks from the download dialogue box.

Adobe's Flash Player Distribution page offers only the Abobe product for any Operating System and any browser you may use, without bundling what amounts to "junk downloads" in the process.

Either source provides the same critical update, and it is a matter of personal choice as to which source you prefer to use.

If you own or manage several computers you may find it more convenient to download the installation file from Adobe Distribution just once and then transfer it to your several machines, instead of going through the process un-selecting bundled software each time you separately download from Adobe Download page.
