Survey Popup [Closed]

Hi nataliefontana, Does this happen in all browsers or just Firefox? Sure, post any other links or ad description you may recieve.

I have only used firefox for a long time. I will try using explorer for a few days and see what happens. In the mean time I haven't had any audio popups for a couple of days (which is a relief because they scare me every time) but I logged onto my bigpond email and this came up in a seperate window;

It's an advertisement for downloading business templates and forms.

Wait a munute. Just received an audio pop-up whilst logging onto my bigpond account. Apparently I have been selected to complete an anonymous survey. Here's the web address;

and another one advertising australian banks;

Do you think these pop-ups may be causing problems in my computer somewhere? Maybe should I just ignore them?

Hi nataliefontana,

Try IE and see if the popups persist. You can also try FireFox in it's safe mode. This will help determine if the popups are browser specific or possibly an add on that is causing them.

To run FireFox's safe mode:

At the top of the Firefox window on the menu bar, click the Help menu Firefox button. Go over to the Help menu and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled. Firefox will start up with the Firefox Safe Mode dialog.

Just follow the prompts to continue to your homepage.
