Ok. I don't know if this is a problem, i was online and COMODO popped and asked Allow or Block to "C:\System32\svchost.exe" i blocked Looking at the Firewall Events it shows up blocked more than a dozen times. I ran a quick MBAM scan and it came up clear. Do i have to unblock? Edit: COMODO kept blocking for 15 minutes and blocked 40 times EDIT2: should i update Internet Explorer? the fake police thing (not again, just yesterday) came up after IE started. Would it be safe to update it or would i need to unintal/reinstal? EDIT3: Restarted the computer and nothing else has popped up.
Firstly are you sure about the location of that file.It should be C:\windows\System32\svchost.exe which is a legitimate process but can sometimes be used by malware, check the firewall log and see if there is any more information about what it has blocked.
This is a shot of the firewall log

COMODO has a More option at the bottem but i'm not sure if i should click it.
It stopped blocking but is that something that needs to be unblocked or will it be fine? should i update Internet Explorer? the fake police thing hasn't happened since the first time but it came up after IE started. Would it be safe to update it or would i need to unintal/reinstal?

As it is not being blocked now you can leave it as it is.

The fake police thing was nothing to do with IE,it was those files removed by MBAM that caused that,if you are not running IE9 then you can update,if you are then you are fine.
