I am currently experiencing a problem where Windows is shutting down as soon as everything gets loaded.
I am able to function (well as much as can be expected) from safemode with networking.
Normal boot takes between 5-10 minutes and then once system is ready to go it shuts down. There are no BSODs, no errors, no reboot, just a straight power off.
I am currently running an AMD Phenom 2 x4 with 8G Ram and a GeForce 9500 GT on an MSI mobo.
I did do a recommended BIOS flash (recommemnded by MSI following complete procedures including backup), installed the new Nvidia graphics driver, ran Windows Update and installed the drivers for my Netgear WN311B RangeMax PCI wireless adapter immediately before all this shutdown problem occurred.
Comp has been running slow for a WHILE now (since middle of August at least, however the shutdown problems are recent and make the comp unusable except as an email station in safe mode.)
This is the thread where some viruses were deleted and it was still running slow on startup:

Here is the link to the topic I created over at geekstogo where I was basically told "Good luck I will leave the issue with you":

As noted in the last post I have run CCleaner, windows memory diagnostic, Spybot, and AVG Free, all of which show no problems.
I have also changed PCI ports, unplugged everything down to near barebones and nothing seems to help.
Perhaps someone here has some idea as to what might be causing this problem?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
