Vista antivirus 2012 infection [Solved]

Can you confirm the spellings? explorere iexplorere.exe

Ooh. That was my typo it should be iexplorer.exe in both instances. The spellings match in both the alert window and the actual file, but it can't find it.

Not sure what that's all about

1. Use the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) to determine which file is causing the issue, and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:
Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.

2. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:
sfc /scannow <–Note the space, it needs to be there

The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.

Okay, did that, and it did not find anything to fix.
I can type "combofix" in the box and it runs. Its only when I type combofix /uninstall that I get the error messages.
FWIW:
For lack of any better idea, I typed regedit, then did FIND for "combofix". When it got to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/console_combofixbackup I got an error message that it couldn't open the key

Just remove these files and folders if listed: C:\ComboFix C:\QooBox C:\combofix.txt C:\combofix-quarantine-files.txt
