Hello
I am returning an external hard drive to Western Digital and wonder how much wear and tear running the zero eraser will take on the pc? The zero eraser is their way of cleaning the hard drive which I down load and run. It places zeroes across the drive.
It will run for 13 hours.
Alternatively, I could get another for $129. out of pocket.
I have to pay for the return which I have yet to determine at UPS if I ship it to CA.
Does it take too much out of the pc or should I just get another?
I have no access to an old pc.
Thank you for your opinion.
