About:Blank

Hey, I need some guidance in handling the About:Blank "virus" I have. I want to deal with it before it starts to slow my computer. Is there any easy way of doing this so I can avoid a professional tech? I ask only because I am a broke college student and don't have the money and would like to learn how to remove it anyway for future reference. I already looked at the Add/Remove link on my control panel, however, I did not find it on there. Any help would be appreciated. Gracias.

The about:blank virus is pretty old. Any Anti-virus program should take care of it.

If you think you are infected with some virus… I suggest you post in the Malware forum.
