I can't get it in safe mode either. I have been trying to get around the security thing. Can't get around it in safe mode or any mode. It has been running ok the last day or so when I have used it. The google search is even working again. I may just call it good at this point. I will have an iPad soon and this thing will just collect dust at that point. 90% of what I do online can be done on that.

An iPad is not a comparison to a PC, just a different animal.

If you have no need to manage files and are not interested in, or have no need to create content, you’ll be OK with just an iPad.

If you need an instrument that can manage and manipulate your data I would suggest finalising the cleaning of your computer as an iPad is not a substitute for it.

If and when you need your PC, you will need to know that it is clean, reliable and free from malware.

I’m happy to continue but please let me know what you’d like to do.
