Hi, sorry to hear that your machine has "the slows"
You haven't given us much to go on, so I can only provide a general response..
Take a look here:
http://users.telenet.be/bluepatchy/miekiem…owcomputer.html
See if any of the tips provided help the situation.
Let us know all the details of your machine its Operating System, under what situations the slowdown ocurrs and if it is still as slow when booted into safe mode…..( be careful in safemode as your protections like antivirus/firewall will not be running…so no surfing!) and what you have done so far together with a PCpitstop report ( in normal mode) and we can take it from there

when you removed all unwanted applications and then cleared out temp and junk files and then defragged…what are your defragmentation figures now?

sorry but dont no how to get them when it comes to this sort of stuff i am like a 5yrold it does seam 2 b quicker the boot up time is 3-4minets i guess is not that bad but i seam 2 have something called facemood.toolbar but i cant find it and it not in the add/remove options
Hi Bazzza, If you have the facemoodtoolbar, then it would be a good idea to have your machine checked by a malware removal expert to see if there is anything a bit more sinister going on….( that also might be responsible for slowing your computer)
Here's the link: http://forums.whatthetech.com/index.php?showtopic=106388
follow the directions and post your logfile in the virus and malware removal form (not here please as we don't analyse them here on this subforum)
Once your computer has been declared "clear of infections and undesirable elements" post back here if you are still having issues with it and we will provide as much help as we can.
When posting your topic in the virus and malware removal forum please post a link to your topic here so that the experts over there know what has been going on.
