You found me that time :D Nearly there, open the FINDnFIX folder again and open the Files2 folder. Double-click on the ZIPZAP.bat. It will quickly clean the rest and will make a copy of the bad file(s) in the same folder (junkxxx.zip) and open your email client with instructions. Simply drag and drop the junkxxx.zip file from the folder into the mail message and submit to the specified addresses.

Please be sure to include a link to this thread in the body of your email. Reboot when done, then delete the entire FINDnFIX folder. Could you click here to download CWShredder by Merijn Bellekom and run it, hit 'fix' as opposed to 'scan only'. If you already have CWShredder, click 'Check for update' and make sure you are running version 1.59.1 Reboot when done. Rescan with HJT and post a new log in your next reply.
Hi Daemon,

Glad to hear from you again.
Old problems:
1. Still cannot send reply from infected machine—Explorer shuts down every time I try, so am still using a different machine to get this to you.

2.Still cannot run updates for windows, shredder, SpywareBlaster, etc.

Because not able to update CWShredder to version 1.59, I ran version 1.57.

If you click the link I provided, that will give you the latest shredder. Go here for Blaster:

Let me know how you get on.
Thanks Daemon, that worked for updates. I still am not able to reply to you on the infected machine. Explorer still shuts down when I try. It's a little awkward transfering logs to this other machine all the time but will carry on.

Hi Daemon Ran TrendMicro HouseCall and Panda ActiveScan but eTrustVirus Web Scaner would not load. Panda indicated infecction "agent.E"–not able to delete
Was able to download Windows update and that seems to have cleared up the problem of replying direct from the infected machine
Panda shows location as: Personal Folders\Outbox\drag 'junkxxx.zip' to… I hope this helps you as I have no idea where to look for this
It's just a remnant of the email you sent - just delete it from your sent folder.

Click here to download System Security Suite. Extract it from the zip file into a folder and doubleclick on sss.exe. Check the boxes under the 'Items to Clear' tab and click 'Clear Selected Items'. You will be prompted to reboot, do so. Repeat for all log-in accounts on your computer.

After that you should be good to go - how is it running now?
Well my freind, it looks like you've done it again for me. Thank you, all appears to be fine. One lesson I have learned—update on regular basis :) Question: Should I also run system security duite on regulas basis ?? Again, many thanks for all youur efforts. Zack
You're welcome - glad to help :D

There's no harm running sss regularly - it just get's rid of accumulated junk.
