You have been logged on with a temporary profile

Originally i had a problem when on boot up the start index list of programs not shown apart from one icon labelled programs and when i went into any program file, brackets appear labelling the file as empty. I had been talking to a guy on here called Essex boy. Fixes were being run as per instructions but things were getting worse and now every i time i reboot i am logged in with a temporary profile. 'loading your desktop' takes and age and i am presented with the message; 'You have been logged in with temporary profile and you cannot access your files created in this profile and will be deleted once you log off.' Indeed this is true and any files / fix programmes or logs are deleted on boot up!! I am desperate now and i do not have not created a back up disk as yet with this pc which is worrying me somewhat!! Please help guys / gals!!

It would be best to wait until that is completed before starting up here. It gets very confusing and often works at cross purposes when following instructions from different people.
