Hello everyone…. I hope the life's treating you great….I just need to know should i buy a system with big processor or huge ram….Which one of them can be upgraded with much ease and convenience… My friends are saying me to get a PC with fast processor and then upgrade the ram whenever it is easy for me Whats better? Thankyou
Hi Ram is generally easy to upgrade, but most experts will advise going for the fastest processor with also the largest amount of RAM. I tend to take a different approach (with my customers) and that is to get a machine that will do the jobs they want it to be able to do and with a bit of scope for upgrading in the future….. some mobos will already be fitted with the fastest processor that will fit in the socket concerned and therefore offer no scope at all for a CPU upgrade……. Somefolks have fairly modest requirements and an inexpensive machine with onboard graphics a "less than top end" processor and adequate but not excessive Ram, will do them just fine and keep the costs down for them whilst at the same time providing satisfactory performance for their needs. However that sort of machine would be a waste of money for a hard core gamer……. The following may sum things up! A 190 MPH Ferarri is a fine car, especially when used on the autostada del sole, but has its limitations when driving offroad 5 miles to the nearest grocery store in thick snow! whereas a Unimog…might be just the job…….. but a bit out of place on the autostrada! its the same with computers! much easier to add/upgrade the ram than a cpu.

ram is just a case of unclipping and pulling the old stick out or just pushing in a new stick till it clips in,

where as the cpu needs needs the heat sink removed, might need to unplug everything and take the motherboard out of the case to do this, then remove the old cpu insert a new one, then apply thermal paste correctly, then put the heatsink back on before replacing motherboard back in case and reconnecting everything.

in my opinion listen to your friends and get the best/most cores/fastest cpu you can afford in your new system, i don't think you'll need to upgrade anything because i'd think it would come with plenty of ram anyway(4GB)

Unimogs are just the job for popping down to the local shops, or perhaps taking the children to school, or changing your library books……….
not!

Man o Man I got to get me one of those things, I can see it now pulling into the church parking lot on a sunday morning tell the folks if you do not come and vist inside I will run over your car. ya that will work.

Jimmy
Better yet, Jimbo1…. If/when a parishioner comes up with some lame excuse for not attending on Sunday morning, you could simply point at your Unimog and remind them that they can run, but they probably can't hide.
