Fan running nonstop - heavy CPU usage?

I think my system is free of malware at this point. I understand you instructed me to read the 3 links. I don't understand everything in the links, but I'll post those questions & suggestions elsewhere.

First, I think I should deal with my computer's fan. There's almost no CPU usage or disk usage going on right now, and the fan is still running.
