Corrupt Host File

I have had an error report from Microsoft saying that my Host file is corrupt. Please can someone help me? Thank you in advance x

Not encountered that personally, but my suggestion is to download and install a new Hosts file from Here, take note of the special instruction notes if you are using Vista or Windows 7, these require more than normal to install, in xp just double click on the .bat file, once done it will say press any key to continue, once closed you can delete the file, it's done it's job.

For future reference, you might check out HostsXpert. It is a great, easy to use, hosts file manager that has an option to restore the default hosts file.
