Oh Dear, Sorry if I miss translated. I believe your first post said something about script blocking. I had clicked disable and since have reclicked enable and now restore. Maybe completely irrelevant. Regardless, it seems to be blocking downloads now. Otherwise much improved.. pjkreuz
So… you are now unable to download any programs?

How about DDS again?
Please download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links and save it to your desktop.
    • DDS.scr
    • DDS.pif
  • Disable any script blocking protection (How to Disable your Security Programs)
  • Double click DDS icon to run the tool (may take up to 3 minutes to run)
  • When done, DDS.txt will open.
  • After a few moments, attach.txt will open in a second window.
  • Save both reports to your desktop.
—————————————————
  • Post the contents of the DDS.txt report in your next reply
  • Attach the Attach.txt report to your post by scroling down to the Attachments area and then clicking Browse. Browse to where you saved the file, and click Open and the click UPLOAD.
saves to desktop then when I double click says same error invalid directory. Not able to download or run anything new. My mistake, it was me not understanding correctly, I may have clicked something in the internet settings. Much like the previous post said to disable script blocking, I was trying to do that through internet options, security, and disabled things and then, few days ago, hit restore to factory default.
It is uninstalled. No icon. TFC is still there as an icon, but won't let me open. Same error, directory name is invalid. Wow! I am stumped..
Let me do for some reason without safemode or vista disk, despite my 100 attempts earlier this week. Oddly enough, it let me run those from the desktop, then let me download itunes, which I also tried to do about 1000 times over the past week without success. I don't know why it would give me all those invalid directory errors last week and let it work this week. Very odd.. pjkreuz
This computer is possessed. Seems to be running good now. Anti-virus back on, internet working and downloads worked. Goodness, I swear I tried over and over last week to run that off the desktop and it wouldn't let me. Don't know what all that invalid directory stuff was, but I did nothing to correct it and after a week or so of it doing that, it no longer is and downloads are working. Who knows. Thanks for you help!!!!! :notworthy: Just going to hope for continued pc health… pjkreuz
