I am having trouble with my friends pc and I cannot figure out why it will only load windows in safe mode. If I try to boot in Normal Mode or Last Known Good Configuration, windows XP does not boot up, the computer simply displays a black screen.

I have ran Malwarebytes, Superantispyware, Norton, AVG, Spybot, CCleaner, Viper Rescue and one other online Virus scan tool. A variety of malware and who knows whatever else, were removed by these programs. I am scratching my head on this one.

I am running Windows XP SP3

Thanks for the help.
