I'm pc illiterate and want to build my own pc I've done some research for parts but i realy have no idea what im looking at if anyone has ideas that could help me out this is a list of the parts i was thinking of getting but if anyone knows of conpairable parts or cheaper prices let me know any help would be appreciated :pullhair: Motherbaord GigaByte GA-EP35_DS3R Intel P35 chipset Processer Intel Core Duo E8500 Ram 4GB PC6400 DDR2-800 SDRam Video Visiontek radeon HD4870 512MB Sound Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer Hard Drive Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB Optical Drive Pioner DVR-216D Case Antec Solo Power Supply Seasonic S12 II 380W Operating System Windows Vista Ultimate (64bit) Monitor BenQ G2400Wd 24" LCD Speakers Altec Lansing FX4021
Can you link to these please ? Then we can see the full spec of what you're looking at, and can suggest alternate options where needed from the same place, or maybe a better place than you are looking, but at first look I would get a more powerful PSU, that one would leave little in reserve, if it could manage to start with, I'd also look at a different optical drive, and is there any reason you're looking at vista as opposed to windows 7 ?
