This is not coming from me but from my friends as well. Some of the sites we frequently used to visit have got those java viruses and viruses you get just by clicking on those sites. Now I practice a lot of security measures but it still can't be helped. Using noscript on Firefox did help but then I had to switch to Google chrome because I needed to sync and now I feel unsafe again.
This is my anti malware setup:
Microsoft Security Essentials
Malwarebytes free (no realtime scanning)
Windows 7 firewall
Spyware Blaster.
Now this setup worked for the last few years on my friends computers and mine but not anymore. I have asked help from this site before and know you guys are great so I need your suggestions. Just yesterday my friend went to an anime site he used to visit and got a fake ms security essentials alert and many more viruses. Now I don't know if I can get some paid antivirus like kaspersky so if its possible, the suggestions should be free software. If the free stuff won't do it I guess I will have to pay for software. Thanks guys!
