Hi, if the drive is a fake then the best thing is to destroy it.
However for the time being let's assume its a genuine one, but your comment on the capacity 128gb is worrying…( that is one huge, huge capacity, and I've never seen a Kinston Flash Drive with anything like that capacity…
If its a typo and the capacity is 128Mb then it makes more sense.
128Mb flash drives are considered very small today and are often given away by firms as part of their advertising…you can now buy flash drives with a considerably larger capacity for a "pound or two" or "a dollar or three"
Here's some thoughts for you on what you could consider doing to try and ressucitate it!
Set to "off" any external switch to " protect the drive" (some sticks have them , most don't)
There is always a possibility that your drive has failed……. They do fail…..
Some suggestions for you:
1 Try and format with FAT 32, if no joy, then try NTFS
2 If still no joy try using a different Windows computer, see if this will help
3 If no joy still, then take a look here:

(This, if you faithfully follow through all the suggestions, will check that you are performing it correctly)
4 If still no joy then do the format in Linux and format as NTFS
5 If after all this, it still won't work, then maybe its time to buy another memory stick!
