Hi BiggDan,
This and most similar Help Forums have the function in User Profile, to "View User Topics" and to "View User Post.
With that function, you can easily and quickly search your own Topics and posts for future reference.
Your Topics and Posts will continue to be available here at WTT Forums on a permanent basis.
As time goes by, your current posts will not be on the first page any longer, as newer posts and topics are created.
But again, using your User Profile functions you can quickly find those topics/posts that are important to you.
Once you have a few hundred or thousand posts, searching from User Profile may become less practical.
I often highlight-copy particularly valuable posts and topics, and paste to .txt or .doc(x) file, and then give them an easily recognizable name before saving them in a Folder specifically named for the purpose: e.g. C:\documents and settings\doug\WTT info\filename.doc
Let us know how that works for you.
Another way is to click on Files then Save As and save the page as an HTML (Web) document. If there are multiple pages you will have to do multiple saves. This works with IE and Firefox (and SeaMonkey, my browser).
Also, under Board Settings in User Control, Panel, I changed the number of post to show for each topic to 40 so most of the time all posts in a thread are there and I don't have to go to the next page.
