I appreciate your very detailed explanation. I have just downloaded RSIT and will post the contents shortly. My computer now is starting up extremely slow after the Windows professional XP reinstallation. You asked me how I did that reinstallation? Well, actually, I tried to get it repaired first and repair failed a couple times, so kind of like half way repair and then I hit reinstall instead. I thought it would be a fresh reinstall too, however, it looks like it is not because some old programs are still there.
Fristly, I did not run that ComboFix on my own; it was with Martix's instruction. But I remember in the past after using Combofix, I would have to uninstall it with some instruction provided by someone who was helping me here. Martix and I had not gone to that step just yet before my computer crashed down.
The message that I originally posted for still applies because not only Spybot Search and Destroy finds that problem; Windows security center sometimes also reports Virus Protection being turned off; right now it shows "ZoneAlarm Pro Firewall reports that it is currently turned off…" I am not sure how it happens because even right now I have both Zonealarm and AVG running.
The last time I used CCleaner to uninstall both Superantispyware and Kingsoft and I think the uninstallation was not complete because it looks like my computer still have some left over. My question is that, what if I cannot find them in Add and Remove Programs, should I manually delete the folder of each out from the program files? Somehow, I think Kingsoft is still in the system, but I have no idea where to find the rest of it in order to get rid of it completely. It was never my intention to have two antivirus programs installed; Kingsoft antivirus came together with the Maxthon browser and I hate it because Maxthon did not warn me of a bundled antivirus program.

Fristly, I did not run that ComboFix on my own; it was with Martix's instruction
I see no instructions in this thread by Martix instructing you to run Combofix.
Let me suggest this since your copy of windows may be a bit botched. Why don't you back up any pictures and documents you don't want to lose and then do a format and clean install of windows, you can post here in our windows forum that can help you through it so it will be done properly. Then any problems you have either windows or malwarewise will be gone http://forums.whatthetech.com/Microsoft_Windows_f119.html
Could you also please show me how to keep the running processes in control? I mean I just want to have the minimum number of processes running in my computer and I want to find a way to get rid of all unnecessary processes. Startup Faster and Msconfig are just not perfect in doing those things. For example, after unselecting some processes and a reboot, some processes that I do not want still will show up the next time. The Windows liver messenger is one of the examples, it would appear every time I turned on my computer. Any good software of this kind you can suggest me is highly appreciated.
Sorry, I mean to say Gmer, not Combo Fix. In that case I do not have to worry about combofix. I only get help from you guys here and would not get instruction from other places. Sorry, I got confused myself too.
I would actually prefer to get some help for now if it is possible instead of doing the reinstallation all over again. The Windows professional XP CD Rom was given by a person who sold this laptop to me and there are actually two CDs in which one of them contains all the drivers. So it is kind of complicated. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks very much!
Your fortunate that you have both disks for your system. Most people lose them and then when they need them there out of luck. If it was me I would do a clean install but since you have decided to not to do that this is where we are at.
RSIT looks fine, no malware I can see.
This forum is set up for Malware Removal only, we dont fix applications that dont work or speed up windows.

Then post in our windows forum for help with your startups, the people in that forum can help you sort out what needs to start and what does not possibly speeding up windows for you.
How did I get infected in the first place ?
Read these links and find out how to prevent getting infected again.
Tutorial for System Restore <– Do this first to prevent yourself from being reinfected.
Keep in mind if you install some of these programs. Only ONE Anti Virus and only ONE Firewall is recommended, more is overkill and can cause you problems. You can install all the Spyware programs I have listed without any problems. If you install Spyware Blaster and Spyware Guard, they will conflict with the TeaTimer in Spybot , you can still install Spybot Search and Destroy but do not enable the TeaTimer .
Here are some free programs to install, all free and highly regarded by the fine people in the Malware Removal Community
Spybot Search and Destroy 1.6 Check for Updates/ Immunize and run a Full System Scan on a regular basis. If you install Spyware Blaster ( Recommended ) then do not enable the TeaTimer in Spybot Search and Destroy.
Spyware Blaster It will prevent most spyware from ever being installed. No scan to run, just update about once a week and enable all protection.
Spyware Guard It offers realtime protection from spyware installation attempts, again, no scan to run, just install it and let it do its thing.
IE-Spyad
IE-Spyad places over 6000 web sites and domains in the IE Restricted list which will severely impair attempts to infect your system. It basically prevents any downloads (cookies etc) from the sites listed, although you will still be able to connect to the sites.
Firefox 3 It has more features and is a lot more secure than IE. It is a very easy and painless download and install, it will no way interfere with IE, you can use them both.
