Can't believe this is happening again.

Tell me exactly waht is happening.

i start computer log in screen comes up popup saying explorer failed to intialize no desktop icons. cant right click on desktop. no itunes. no media player. no javascript online no videos online no music online no games online basically all i can do is check facebook, and come here to tell you what i can't do.

You can use windows sfc (system file checker) You'd need your XP CD to make this work.
Click Start> Run> type sfc /scannow Note the space.
(Note that there is a space between sfc and /scannow)

That scan just popped up and disappeared. I even have the windows c.d. in. Please just tell me how to undo what you told me to do on "Apr 3 2010, 06:10 AM" on the first page. that was what made explorer start failing.

Here's how to do that:
Click Start > Run type Notepad click OK.
This will open an empty notepad file:

Take your mouse, and place your cursor at the beginning of the text in the box below, then click and hold the left mouse button, while pulling your mouse over the text. This should highlight the text. Now release the left mouse button. Now, with the cursor over the highlighted text, right click the mouse for options, and select 'copy'. Now over the empty Notepad box, right click your mouse again, and select 'paste' and you will have copied and pasted the text.

Save this file to your desktop, Save this as "CFScript"

Here's how to do that:
1.Click File;
2.Click Save As… Change the directory to your desktop;
3.Change the Save as type to "All Files";
4.Type in the file name: CFScript
5.Click Save …

Drag CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe


Then post the results log using Copy / Paste

just forget it. nothing is helping. my computer was better off before i started this thread. at least i had all the programs that i needed. now nothing works. now i gotta spend money to back up all my files. im not coming to this site anymore. half the time you just copy and paste things as replies that don't help. honestly im not sure if you know what your talking about. i know your a volunteer and im sorry for wasting your time. but my computer is worse now thanks to you. I guess you won't ask me for a refund then.
I'm sorry you got yourself infected again and asked for more help.
Some infections can cause issues that can't be fixed and requires a repair OS install or a format / re-install.
