Serious Issues

I was infected by more than one source of malware, and I know that before I tried to reinstall Lavasoft Adaware found a worm, but the issue is I am trying to reinstall and I am getting this: error: SSX.DLL:Syntax error in manifest or policy file "G:\I386\asms\10\MSFT\WINDOWS\GDIPLUS\GDIPLUS.MAN" on line 4. I have no idea what to do and I have a project to complete for a client very soon. Please help me get Windows back on the machine and make sure there is nothing wrong with the drive before I start reinstalling all my programs.

What are you trying to install? Lavasoft Adaware?

Just go through each of the procedures, (writing down on a sheet of paper each step as you do it) so you dont miss anything, and then we will be able to ask you questions about the results from each step if you get stuck!
