Laptops have fewer options and are more difficult to upgrade.
Running Games with "high graphics" will only be possible if your laptop already has strong performing CPU, RAM, and Graphics solution.
Let's have a look at the Hardware of your machine.
With information from the following scan, we will be better able to offer you accurate assistance.
As an example of this Hardware Scan, here's a Results page from a machine on my desk at this moment:
http://www.d-a-l.com...c934a0365b65cfd
Post the link to your own machine's D-A-L Hardware Scanner Results.
Then we may be able to provide some additional help.
In your next post, include:
1. MGA Diagnostic Report
2. D-A-L Hardware Scan Results Link

As I mentioned earlier, it is more difficult to upgrade a laptop than a desktop.
You have a good machine for basic computing and internet browsing, but would not be expected to handle high-end graphics of internet gaming set to high levels.
http://www.nvidia.co...ries_specs.html
Since your graphics adapter is an onboard chip, it cannot be easily replaced by the owner user.
Nor would it be cost effective to try to have a tech shop try to upgrade.
The "good news" is that your machine's graphic adapter is a good performer.
The "bad news" is that it "borrows" memory from your system RAM in order to function.
Vista Home Basic is serviceable for general computer, office tasks, internet browsing and low to mid range gaming.
Vista itself consumes a great deal of RAM.
You have only 1GB of physical RAM installed.
Your graphics solution is already consuming some of that RAM resource.
The "best thing" that you could do to improve your machines performance would be to add another GB of RAM.
Your machine can handle up to 2GB RAM.
Go to Crucial online scan:
http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/
Agree and allow the scan to run.
The results will tell you precisely what RAM you can add to improve performance.
Note: (you do not have to buy directly from Crucial though they are a good company)
Instead, use the Crucial Scan to determine what you need specifically, and then shop around for best price.
Best Regards
