Hi Mooze

First hit on google, should solve the problem ;)

A word of caution regarding screensavers. They are notoriously known for carrying bad code (malware). If you want screensavers, use those from reputable sites. Like; http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloa…op/default.mspx
A thing you might want to look upon, is WOT (Web of trust) Not failsafe, but a step in the right direction when it comes to avoid poor / bad sites.

if you meant downloading IE8 would fix the problem, it hasnt. Still pops up. If you meant doing a Google search and installing the flash add ons, that didnt work either.

Huh?

What pages are you looking on friend? I see no IE8? Hopefully you are not getting redirects of some sorts.
The addon WOT was so you could stay somewhat clear on bad sites having screensavers for download.
The Microsoft page have several screensavers and themes for download. It was meant as a safe alternative
for downloading screensavers.

I'll quote from the page with the solution, to get the "could not find macro media flash" error sorted;

to solve this once and for all, right click on the desktop, get
properties, go to screen saver, and erase any/all screen savers you
downloaded that use flash. cycle through each one and you'll know it's
using flash player cause when you choose it it will pop the error
"could not find macromedia flash". so delete it, reboot and you're all
set.

Simple.

What pages are you viewing when you click the links I provided?

Regards
this is what i see when i click on the first link: it used to say Download IE8 at the top of the list on the left. now it doesnt.
same page as you i guess. i thought you were refering to the flash links, Didnt see the paragraph below them. :smack:

In anycase, i found the one that is causing the problem. Thanks for the help. You can consider this problem RESOLVED. :wavey:
