Unfortunately, I have another computer on my home network that is also infected, and I am not going to tackle that one next.
I THINK I need to start another topic - and I hope my next helper is just as good as you.

I can help you with that one but start a new topic and name it something like for gringo and send me a pm with a link to it.

we will need to use a jump drive to pass the tools and the logs back and forth so I would like you to run this program below
it will help protect the jumpdrive from passing the infection to the clean computer

: Download and run Flash_Disinfector

Download Flash_Disinfector from here and save it to your desktop.
Doubleclick on Flash_Disinfector.exe to run it and follow the prompts.
Wait until it has finished scanning and then exit the program.
The utility may ask you to insert your flash drive and/or other removable drives. This may include your mobile phone.
Please do so and allow the utility to clean up those drives as well.
