I am having a few issues with my computer. First off "My Computer" will not load. When i click on it to open the box pops up with the side blue side bar to quick change to my network places and those goodies. After a second it disappears and I get the flash light looking for the file folder in an all white box. It just continues to go through this. I can however access all my drives by going to start > run and typing in the drive letter and hit enter. One thing I notice about this is that the delay between typing the drive letter and : are very long. This is causing me to have some issues with Microsoft Publisher. When I open up publisher and click the look-in drop down to go to a different are of the computer the drop down never comes up and a box pops up saying "initaializing root folders" with one of those never ending loading bars.

Also I am having some difficulties with Internet Explorer. It opens up ok but I can only go to webpages that I have listed in my favorites. When I go to the address bar to type in a website nothing happens when i hit enter for it to load the page. I dont get a loading bar anything. I can however go to google through a favorite link and search on google and it works fine.

So far I have cleaned out my Temp Internet Files, Temp Files, ran Disk Defrag, and Disk Cleanup.
