internet extremely slow

hi, i posted this last night and accidentally posted this inquiry multiple times (my internet freezes sporadically). again, i apologize for violating the rules, it was not my intention at all. over the past couple days, my internet has not been performing very well at all, my java freezes, downloads freeze before completion, streaming videos freeze, etc. so far, i've run avg and adaware scans and did a system restore and nothing is seeming to work. here is my hijackthis scan. please help me!
