I tried all the Rebooting stuff and nothing worked, that was one of the first things that i tried. But would an IpAdress Conflict be the source of the probleme? Because it keeps giving me a message saying that another computor on my network has the same Ip as me I think the computor that has the same one as me is the Desktop so would that be the source of the probleme?

Are you using a router or a modem? Is your internet DSL, Cable or Satellite? Did all the computers before use to connect?

OK on the router probably in the back there should be a little hole. That is the reset switch. Use a paper clip or something small like that and push it in the hole. You should see the router reboot and all the lights start to blink. Give it a minute or two to reset and then I suggest you reboot every system so that it can acquire a renewed IP. Let me know if this resolves the speed issue.

You can try this and see if this will help your speed also.

In Microsoft Windows, you can use the command ipconfig /flushdns to flush the DNS resolver cache.
Go to Start and then to Run
Type in cmd and then right click on the command window and then click on Run As Administrator.click
At the command prompt type the following and click Enter:

C:>ipconfig /flushdns

Note the space between the [b]g and the /

When done you should see the following:

Windows IP Configuration
Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

I did that and nothing happened. I am using an HP Pavilion p6330f Home Premium Windows 7 Desktop PC not a laptop so does this make a difference? I mean after all DOS is still just DOS, right? Laptops didn't even exist when DOS first came along ya know? Thanks- keimanzero :o
