Hello Doug! Thanks for all help! The fan on the Graphics car is running. Case is located on the floor beside my desk. The liquid cooling is only for the CPU for now. Hello! I have a surge-protector not i havent installed it yet to the computer. But there is a connector there who has a Printer, 1 Lamp, another computer and speaker system connected to it and ofcourse this "the problem one" computer. Regards Jon
By "surge protector" I am referring to a relatively inexpensive short wired gang of plug receptacles that has an interrupt feature that "turns off" if an electrical surge occurs in the house wiring. I "am not" referring to UPS Universal Power Supply backup battery unit. Nice to have, and recommended, but right now you simply need "surge protection". Please connect this computer via surge-protector. (less than $20 US) Consider a second surge protector for the second computer. Speaker system? <– is this for one of your computers? or perhaps for a separate audio system? When you have multiple appliances connected to the same house circuit, each appliance can have an influence on other appliances. I've seen Refrigerators cause "brown-out" conditions to a circuit involving a computer in another room, causing the computer to fail. Not a good idea to have multiple other devices, appliances or lighting connected to the same outlet that you have your computer plugged into. Your situation is probably "OK" but not preferred. Definitely put the surge protector online for your computer. Then see what else you can do to isolate your computer from other devices. We may be going "far afield" with this present topic. We are discussing "important" issues related to setting up the computer, but your immediate concern about Blue Screens may or may not be related. Doug
Hello Doug! The Speaker system is to one of the computer, but it has a external volume changer. That one is the one who is plugged in the connector. i will install the surge protector to my computer, i have 2 of them. So you think this can be one of the problems to the Blue-Screens.. Well lets hope so.. I will install those surge protector now.. Regards Jon
No Jon, sorry to say that I cannot suggest that not having a surge protector would be a primary cause of Blue Screen Stop Errors. But for safety of your system, it should always have surge protection. Much more likely to be a Physical Memory (RAM) problem (which you have tested) Or a Driver Problem I'm "stumpted" right now. Means that I've run out of clues until the Next Blue Screen Error Report. Sorry. Doug hmmm. Did you install the "liquid cooling" system? If so, did you use Thermal Paste between the CPU and the heatsink block?
Hello! Here is the next Blue-Screen message. Memory_Managment 0x0000001A (0x00000781, 0xC0000000, 0x00000000, 0xE15B7200) Maybe its the memory after al?

Hi Jon,

Give that a shot.
You may may already have that specific update, but run MS Updates anyway.

I would say 80% of the results I get with a Google search for 0x0000001A 0x00000781 ended up being a memory problem. Memory testers don't load or stress a computer the way XP (or any OS) does. Are you still running with 4GB of ram? If so, remove the 2GB stick that tested bad before and run it for a few days, see what happens. I seriously doubt you will see any difference in performance between 4GB and 2GB.
Rich is definitely correct to stay on target with suspecting a hardware problem with RAM. The other suggestion which have been offered are along the theme of "leave no stone unturned". Thanks for keeping us all on track, Rich. Smiles, I hope you will keep us posted with your progress and eventual successful solution. Best Regards
Thanks everyone! Doug: i have now installed WIndows XP 64x. And it looks like it is running smoothly. I will try and do that test, but the error message and file was only ment for 32x. Ztruker: I am running at 2GBs of rams. even tho you might not see any difference in RAM btw 2Gb and 4GB, 4GB was what i paid for. I want to try and fix so i can run it again. I will keep an updated progress. Regards Jon
Jon, I understand. Also, XP 64x supports 4GB so being in your place I would also want it all to work. Please post back if you have any problems with XP 64x.
