WinPatrol

Hello everyone, I have recently overcome a Vundo infection (Thanks to TomK) and was looking into geting Winpatrol, upon his suggestion. I just have a couple of questions in regards to it. 1) I am currently using Startup lite to control the programs that run at startup, I noticed that winpatrol does this as well (at least I think that is what I read on their website). Would this suggest I can use winpatrol in place of startup lite? 2) Winpatrol monitors many processes and I was wondering if anyone encountered any problems with this? Ie in regard to their on-demand virus scan from their Antivirus application. Yeah I guess that is it. Thanks for your input. -Scud

Likewise here is the information about WinPatrol. I run both on all computers as they are quite different in my estimation.

Not sure if you read through WinPatrol's features list here >> Features - a bit more than just startup monitoring.

I've been using this program for a while and haven't experienced any issues or conflicts with on-demand scanning from any of my scanning programs.

You can always install it and try it for a few days..

all this is included in windows, i don't understand why third party apps are needed.
