Howdy all. I'm a 53 year old relic. I once could program my VCR but am now hopelessly outdated by technology. My computer is about as archaic as I am and I'm trying to solve some problems. Part of my problem is I can't even read/understand instructions on these things. I'm now going to try to find the right forum to seek help. Wish me luck, I need it.

First of all follow the advise found here

You will need to download a copy of HijackThis and copy/paste the log into the HijackThis™ Logs and Infections Removal forum, where an expert will come along and help you.

The Malware Removal forum is very busy, if you do not get a reply in five days, then you may give a gentle nudge here.

If you don't feel you have a virus problem, just go to the main forum board where there are plenty of sub-forums to choose from to match whatever your problem seems to be. If you tell us roughly what it is, then we can guide you more to post in the correct forum. Otherwise Catbyte has given you sound advice.

If I was as old as I feel, I'd really be in bad shape cause I've been rode hard and turned out wet! (told you I was archaic)

I do believe I have a virus problem.

I just down loaded the "HijackThis" and it said I did not have enough storage. But there's an icon on my desk top and it opens something. Is that page what I'm supposed to copy and paste somewhere?

One problem I had was that the Hijackthis link given was to an obsolete version. When I posted the log it was deleted and I was redirected to a newer version. I uninstalled the old, installed the new, and proceded to post the log where directed above. I guess I go from there.

I checked, you have posted correctly in the HJT forum, now you need to wait until an accredited Malware fighter picks up your log and gets in touch with you. Please do not answer your own log, as the fighters look for logs unanswered.
