Hi Shani,
The changes merged into the registry and your logs are good!

Please delete the following:
  • RSIT.exe from your desktop and its folder (C:\rsit)
  • fix.reg from your desktop
  • delete DAFT.exe from your desktop and daft.txt as well
——————————–
Set a New Restore Point (this will prevent possible reinfection from an old one)

The easiest and safest way to do this is:
  • Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools and click "System Restore"
  • Choose the radio button marked "Create a Restore Point" on the first screen then click "Next". Give the restore point a name then click "Create." The new point will be stamped with the current date and time. You may want to keep a log of this so you can find it easily should you need to use System Restore.
  • Then go to Start > Run and type: Cleanmgr
  • Click "OK".
  • Click the "More Options" Tab.
  • Click "Clean Up" in the System Restore section. At the prompt to remove all previous restore points except the newly created one, click Yes.

Please read through the following recommendations:

  • : Windows Updates :
Keep your operating system fully updated to protect your system from any security threats. Malware writers often exploit vulnerabilities in unpatched systems. If you do not have your system set to receive security & critical updates automatically, I encourage you to visit Microsoft Updates on a regular basis to check for any recommended updates for your OS and IE. To view your Windows Update policy, simply RIGHT-click on My Computer > Properties > Select the "Automatic Updates" tab.

  • : Antivirus :
Be sure to keep your antivirus installed and updated. Without updates, your antivirus will not be able to protect your system from new threats.

  • : Additional Anti-Spyware :
There are a number of free programs available that are designed to help you protect your system from malware. I have listed a few of these programs below and highly recommend that you install one or more of the programs. Note: Always check for updates before running scans. If the program has an option to auto-check for updates, enable it.

    • SpywareBlaster - A tutorial on using SpywareBlaster may be found here
    • Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware - This program is a good program to keep around for on-demand scanning as well as routine scanning. Be sure to check for updates before scanning your system.
    • WinPatrol 2008 - A tutorial on using WinPatrol may be found at the creator's website, Here
  • : Consider using a HOSTS file :
A Hosts file will prevent your computer from any known malware and spyware sites by redirecting the connection request to 127.0.0.1, which is your local address. You may download the MVPS Hosts File by clicking >> HERE <<. A tutorial is also available as well as tips and links to other resources.

  • : Make your Internet Explorer more secure :
    1. In Internet Explorer, click on the Tools menu > Options
    2. Click on the Security tab
    3. Click the Internet icon so that it becomes highlighted
    4. Click on Default Level and click OK
