OK this is getting frustrating isn't it… :pullhair:

Let's back up a bit and go back through the process. I need you to follow these steps exactly as advised.

First, physically disconnect both of these PC's from your network. Pull the network cables out of them.

Run ATFCleaner and MBAM on both of them. Having it fix what it finds on both.

Then, flush the DNS cache on both of them as follows:

Click Start> Run> type in CMD tap enter key
At the prompt: Copy/Paste: ipconfig /flushdns
If you are typing this in, note the space between the g /f
It needs to be there.

Reboot both of them.

Do not connect the network cables yet.

Run MBAM again on both of them. Now, if they are still infected please let me know and post the logs.

If no infection is present at this time do the following…

Reset the router as advised earlier.

Now reconnect both PC's to the network and see how it runs.
Hello IndiGenus,

Yes it was getting very frustrating!! I done everything you wanted me to do exactly, only it still did not work. What I did was manually go in and change it, I brought up the settings to the router and clicked on the setup tab and noticed that the 85. so on and so on was in the DNS part and needed to be gone, while clicking on the other tabs I clicked on the status tab and had noticed that there were other numbers in there that had started with 68. so on and so on in that dns part, so I put those numbers in the setup tab where it said dns and ran malware bytes, flushed the dns and rebooted and it worked. I can go to windows update and everything…yay. I updated everything here are the logs:

I done everything you wanted me to do exactly, only it still did not work. Hmm, for some reason the router was not being reset. As you know by now those 85.xxx… numbers are the bad IP's. If the router was getting fully reset those and the 68.xxx…numbers would have been cleared out. But nice job on your part of going into the router config. and resetting what needed to be done. That would have been hard to guide you through.

Let's keep an eye on it for a bit. Let me know in a day or 2 if things are still ok. Good part is you hopefully got to learn a little networking in this whole process.

We learn the most when we struggle the most I find.

Regards,
Dave
Hello IndiGenus,

I know and it should of reset when I held the reset button in with the paper clip, the lights done what they were suppose to but for some reason the router didnt set, which when I rescanned the computers with Malwarebytes and it showed that 85.xxx again is what made me go into the router config. and take a look around. I'm glad it worked I was just about over it.

Let's keep an eye on it for a bit. Let me know in a day or 2 if things are still ok. Good part is you hopefully got to learn a little networking in this whole process.

Yes I did learn about that and this infection to. I also learned that I may need to break my sisters hands if touches either one of these computers again without my consent… Are you wanting to wait for me to cleanup the tools for couple days then?

I also learned that I may need to break my sisters hands if touches either one of these computers again without my consent..

Sounds like a good part of your security plan.

Are you wanting to wait for me to cleanup the tools for couple days then?

No, if all is running well you can remove them now. Run the combofix uninstall routine on both PC's as I had instructed earlier. You can also remove RSIT and F-Secure's Blacklight.

Let me know when you have read this and if all is well I will close it back out.
