Hi all - an older computer used by kid with some junk in the trunk? First issue are some evil looking Bitdefender Firewall logs that look like port scanning is going on?
Following is the last dozen or so lines of my log you can get the idea…

2008/10/18 17:19:27.842 [BDFTDIF][ADDRESS] Opening UDP port. (addr = 0.0.0.0, port = 1529)
2008/10/18 17:19:27.852 [BDFTDIF][ADDRESS] Closing UDP port. (addr = 0.0.0.0, port = 1529)
2008/10/18 17:19:27.852 [BDFTDIF][ADDRESS] Opening UDP port. (addr = 0.0.0.0, port = 1530)
2008/10/18 17:19:27.862 [BDFTDIF][ADDRESS] Closing UDP port. (addr = 0.0.0.0, port = 1530)
2008/10/18 17:19:27.862 [BDFTDIF][ADDRESS] Opening UDP port. (addr = 0.0.0.0, port = 1531)

2008/10/18 17:19:27.882 [BDFTDIF][ADDRESS] Closing UDP port. (addr = 0.0.0.0, port = 1532)
2008/10/18 17:19:27.882 [BDFTDIF][ADDRESS] Opening UDP port. (addr = 0.0.0.0, port = 1533)
2008/10/18 17:19:27.892 [BDFTDIF][ADDRESS] Closing UDP port. (addr = 0.0.0.0, port = 1533)
2008/10/18 17:19:27.892 [BDFTDIF][ADDRESS] Opening UDP port. (addr = 0.0.0.0, port = 1534)
2008/10/18 17:19:27.902 [BDFTDIF][ADDRESS] Closing UDP port. (addr = 0.0.0.0, port = 1534)
Second issue is it takes for ever for the machine to boot and wonder of there is some unfinished update garbage clogging the pipe. Specifically I wonder about the O16 microsoft updates referencing CABs, not to keen on the HPWIS stuff, and the network diagnostic buttons but mostly wondering about the activity above.
Thanks for any help
