EDIT – Please disregard this request. Apparently this is an issue where HijackThis is not fully compatible with Vista 64 bit. Quote from other board: HJT reads and enumerates the startup locations in the OS, then confirms that the executable exists. In Vista (which to my knowledge HJT is not compatible with), the entries are read, but it cannot confirm it as the normal user accounts do not have that level of access to the system folder.
So now that I understand, please accept my apologies for my confusion.

Hi,
I've been a long time lurker, (way before what my profile shows as joining 2006, that has got to be a rejoin to this site when it changed) Anyway I hope someone can help me with this. I do not think I have a malware/spyware issue I just want to know what (if anything) I can or should do about numerous "Unknown Owner" on my HiJackThis log. I read somewhere perhaps it's Nvidia messing with Vista, but I'm not sure. This is a new, fresh install of Vista Ultimate 64 bit, on self made computer (see my profile for info). I am having trouble with slow transfer from internal Vista drive partitions to external HDD via Firewire 400, so in the process of researching how to fix that, I ran a hijack this and saw all these "Unknown Owner"s.
I've read some of the stickies and made a ERUNT file. Here is my Hijjackthis log and my Malware Bytes log. Thank you very much for any help you can give me. If I can do anything for you please advise. If this is in the wrong forum for this please accept my apology in advance and advise me where it should be and I will move it asap.
Thank you,
DF
