My laptop seems to be ok, but i still have a few things popping up, though's it a bit more well behaved lol.

Hope the logs help and my lappy is on the mend.
Hi lozzy45,

It looks like you once had Symantec/Norton on your system and have some leftovers still running…

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool

Please visit Symantec support by clicking HERE

Choose the Norton product you had installed.

Then follow the steps listed on the page that opens.

===============================================

Fix with HijackThis

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

O2 - BHO: SmartShopper - {2BA1C226-EC1B-4471-A65F-D0688AC6EE3A} - C:\Program Files\SmartShopper\Bin\2.5.0\SmrtShpr.dll
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AntispywareD] "C:\Program Files\SpywareDestructor\SpywareDestructor.exe" /scan
O9 - Extra button: SmartShopper - Compare product prices - {3CC3D8FE-F0E0-4dd1-A69A-8C56BCC7BEBF} - C:\Program Files\SmartShopper\Bin\2.5.0\SmrtShpr.dll
O9 - Extra button: SmartShopper - Compare travel rates - {3CC3D8FE-F0E0-4dd1-A69A-8C56BCC7BEC0} - C:\Program Files\SmartShopper\Bin\2.5.0\SmrtShpr.dll

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis (especially Internet Explorer!), then click Fix Checked. Close HiJackThis.

Please go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove the following (if present):

SmartShopper
SpywareDestructor

Please note any other programs that you dont recognize in that list in your next response

Using Windows Explorer (to get there right-click your Start button and go to "My Computer", or Hold down the Windows Key + E ), please delete these folders (if present):

C:\Program Files\SmartShopper
C:\Program Files\SpywareDestructor

After that, Reboot, and post a new HijackThis log here in your reply.

Also let me know how things are running now
Thanks, erm, the thing you were saying about the Norton, i only have one and it's the norton 360, thats the protectio i have (like it did much protecting). That bit has confused me, i looked in my add/remove list and i only have one norton there as well the one that im currently using? What should i do, should i skip that part or still go ahead with it?
oh ok… I thought was you were using AVG8 as your antivirus protection because that is also on your system. It is strongly recommended that you run only one antivirus program at a time. Having more than one antivirus program active in memory uses additional resources and can result in program conflicts and false virus alerts. So you need to pick one to keep either Norton or AVG and remove the other one through add/remove programs.
hello thanks
For your help so far.
Them spyweare programe wasnt in the unistall list nor was the folder, thought that you should know this.

Here are the programes i dont really know -

My laptop is acting more wellbehaved but i just want to make sure that everything is ok and healthy!
Thanks again

Here are the programes i dont really know -
Zuma Deluxe
Big Kahuna Reef 2
Bricks of egypt
ALOT toolbar
Dynasty
Galapago
Freeze Clip Art

Hi lozzy45,

Zuma Deluxe – is a free web game.

Big Kahuna Reef 2 - is a free web game.

Bricks of Egypt - is a free web game

ALOT toolbar - Alot is a series of toolbars each based on a different subject ranging from music, videos, and news all the way to parenting information and recipes. Each toolbar gives specific organic and paid search results for the specific topic. The toolbar also provides error redirection to show links for potentially correct pages and search results for misspelled web addresses. The toolbar(s) are free to all users, and the company earns income from the advertisement revenues on the toolbar and search results.

Dynasty – is a PC game

Galapago - is a free web game

Freeze Clip Art – is a junk program dealing with clip art.

I would recommend you remove all of the above, however if you choose to keep the games be sure to remove the ALOT toolbar, and Freeze Clip Art.

Also the log you posted is the same as the one you posted in post #6, so it doesn’t reflect any of the changes you made. Can you do a new scan with Hijackthis and post a new log please
Hi

If you still need help, I will be going out of town this weekend. We are heading to Philadelphia to catch the Eagles game, so my access to a computer will be limited if at all, I will be returning on Monday evening. However I will be online tonight and most of the day tomorrow, so if you stay consistent we should be able to get you sorted before I leave.

Anyway I just wanted to let you know incase you don’t hear from me this weekend :)

Thanks
