[Closed] System Resources getting eaten up.

I'm having problems with having low system resources on my C drive.
I have 4 drives and have been cleaning up stuff on the main C drive but even after I do and get to the point where I resolve the issue,
I have to do it all over again.
I read something about the pagefile taking up alot of space.
When I did my Adaware scan there was an inordinant amount of running processes (log file is 33 pages…eeps).
Yeah, so I guess something is wrong there huh?
Is there something I can do to stop that?
There wasn't alot of spyware or what have you (i do adaware alot).
I did a spybot scan.
That said I was good. No threats.

(also….I have no clue if this is anything or not) my Windows media player (vers 10 cause I refuse to upgrade, last time it messed things up there) but I have duplicate files there. So I don't know if this is part of the problem or not.

It's getting so I can't even copy files to disk because I guess when you do that you also create additional files, I don't know.

This computer was put together by a techy geek boyfriend and has alot of stuff on it that I'm not sure if I can delete, if I use in some aspect or not. I do alot of bookmarking too if that makes any difference.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Let's run a couple of relatively quick tools and get a better handle on what you have going on.

While TeaTimer is an excellent tool for the prevention of spyware, it can sometimes prevent HijackThis from fixing certain things.
Please disable TeaTimer for now until you are clean. TeaTimer can be re-activated once your HijackThis log is clean.

Open Spybot Search & Destroy.
In the Mode menu click Advanced mode if not already selected.
Choose Yes at the Warning prompt.
Expand the Tools menu.
Click Resident.
Uncheck the Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of overall system settings) active. box.
In the File menu click Exit to exit Spybot Search & Destroy.

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

It's normal after running ATF cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time or two.

Then

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location and post the results.
Note: If you receive a notice that some of the items couldn't be removed, that they have been added to the delete on reboot list, please reboot (shut down your computer then restart it).

Also "copy/paste" a new HijackThis log file into this thread.

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
