Dear all,

Recently, i can not shutdown or log off my computer successfully before i turn off the computer power.

I noticed that the process called wuauclt.exe appeared in the list of processes that found in the task manager. I tried to kill this process, but failed. Under the system32 folder, i found two similar wuauclt.exe and wuauclt1.exe files, they both reappeared after i had deleted them. So, i suspected this process wuauclt.exe would be infected by virus or is the virus itself.

Furthermore, i also can not see the list of programs that have been installed in my computer by opening up the "Add/Remove Program" under the control panel.

So, does anyone know what is going on in my computer? I have done the scanning using PCCilin, Adware personal, spybot and even sdfix. The problem still the same.

Thanks in advance.

Dear all,

I have installed the AVIRA anti virus software which has found many viruses in my laptop and I'm able to delete the suspected wuauclt.exe processes (i.e wuauclt.exe and wuauclt1.exe ) by myself.
However, my laptop still running quite slow when it trying to shutdown or restart itself.

Furthermore, i'm also able to open the 'Add & Remove programs' under the control panel to see the list of installed programs.

On the other hand, i failed to remove the following items by means of hijackthis program. Are they viruses or Trojans?
