Antivirus XP 2008

Hi, I'm a novice so I'm not trying much on my own from the self-help sections. Below is the HJT log. Generally, I seem to have been infected by Antivirus XP 2008. It shows up in pop-ups and windows that won't close - telling you to run the "software". I have also noticed a "screensaver" that shows up when the computer has not been used for several minutes. The "screensaver" makes it look like your computer is restarting (it looks like the Windows xp shutdown screen) followed by a blue screen that states an error has been found and requires a computer scan. It is not actually shutting down the computer as it disappears as soon as you move the mouse. Antivirus XP also pops up on my start menu bar at the bottom of the screen with a "system information" message that states it has found 2724 viruses on my computer and it is recommended that I disinfect files as soon as possible. OK I downloaded and ran ComboFix and I have the log that it produced as well as the HJT log and Uninstall list. The Antivirus XP 2008 has not reappeared since I ran it, but I just finished doing it, so we'll see. However, I can still see the program listed in my Start Menu along with a "link" to Register Antivirus 2008, but I haven't clicked on these to check them out. Should I just delete them? My background screen is the Microsoft blue screen, instead of my background picture, but I haven't tried to change that back either.
