Really just asking for any ideas why on earth the Commit Charge on my sbs2000 machine gets to 3Gig +
i've tried to find if there is a memory leak from any of the applications and there is not.
There are no viruses/malware or adware
Which value under Commit Charge are you referring to? Note the total is the amount of memory resources that you are currently using. Limit is your RAM + Page File total, and Peak is the most you have used since last boot.
How much RAM do you have installed and how is your PF setup?
The below are all enhanced Task Manager type programs that will show you what is running on your computer. Each is nice in its own way. What's Running is probably the easiest, with AutoRuns for the more experienced, and Process Explorer the most popular. With these, for example, you can see what processes are using each of those various svchost.exe images.
Hi i am refering to the total amount.
The limit is set at 4gig generally the peak is about 3.6gig
There is 4gig RAM on the machine and physical memory Available never drops below 1.5gig
Dirrectly after a reboot the Total Commit Charge is around 1.8gig and from there is climbs and never goes down until i reboot again
Even if i kill all unnecessary programs and services (basically just leave the bare minimum for sbs to run)
