Files and Settings Transfer Wizard Sunday Fun

Yep, I've run into the infamous error in the FAST wizard about gathering my migration store with a previous version of FAST wizard. Ooops! No chance to redo it - I wiped the drive. What I have now is all I'll ever have… Is the solution to rollback my XP to SP1, (I think I gathered under SP2…), re-run the wizard and later reinstall the SP3 unpdate? Thanks all!

You said you wiped the drive, there is no rolling back now.

The OS I reinstalled was XP SP1. SP3 was an update, which is uninstallable through Add/Remove Programs.

I don't know what you are asking.

SP3 is not an "update" but a major patch with many updates included. It is not installed from add or remove. You install SP3 from a file, a CD or though Windows Update.
