- Loss of ability to change desktop background
- loss of access to drives in my computer
- loss of access to ALL programs, RUN, and other buttons on the start menu
- A label behind the time in the clock tray, and any time reading titled ":Virus Alert"
- progressive slowness of PC and response from browser
Having scanned thru these forums… I downloaded and ran ATF, and MBAM, and scanned the machine with it, AVG and Windows Defender.. Each seemed to be finding different pieces of it.. but all found and corrected something. As of now..the system SEEMS better, but the desktop background is still unreachable, the clock came back with military time, IE wasnt the default browser. So were not all the way there yet, I dont think.. your help here would be appreciated..
