Sometime this week i begin to have display troubles. I thought it was the monitor so i tested it on another pc in the house and it is fine. The picture is very distorted with vertical lines. A few days ago I uninstalled my drivers and reinstalled, and now the left half of my screen is messed up but the right half is perfectly fine. I have included a screenshot of the problem. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.
Hi syxxpac316

If it occured right after the new driver was installed, its likely the one to blame.

Couple of choices here.

Roll back driver: MS article on how to roll back driver This will likely fix the problem here and now. You should then install the new driver using the Driver Sweeper and the instructions how to, as seen below.

Download the new driver once again, and save it to desktop.
Download Driver sweeper Be sure to read how to use it.
Now remove your current driver according to the instructions from Driver Sweeper.
Re-install after reboot the new driver.

See how it goes.

It could also be the Graphic Card AKA Video Card. Find new updates for the hardware and download them if possible. Regards, Nick Kitmitto
