Did you make sure to disable NOD32 while Kaspersky is running?

It´s on the move now…81%…but it´s slow goin´…

Aargh…scan complete after half a lifetime..but I cant save the logfile. Changing to .txt and saving goes OK…but the file doesn´t exist afterwards. Tried to save it into different locations - but nope. Hmmm…can´t really see where I´m going wrong here…it´s just saving a file.

Well…I´ve really tried this but the file wont save. It cannot be saved directly to c:/ or in any other place than "desktop" or "My documents" and even then it doesn´t show up afterwards. But the whole thing seems a bit strange - because I tried to create and name a new folder in the "save-file window" to see if that would work - and it worked fine creating one but I couldn´t rename it. I also tried to save the log as html but just as before it will not show afterwards.
The strangest thing however is when i try to save the log as txt - I can clearly see the files I saved before. (in the save as-window) - strange huh?

Tried the Trend Micro scan instead - but it takes only 1 second to search and confirm that I have no infections…??
Kapersky did actually find stuff…but no button etc for cleaning/removing.

You can. Like every SP MS has ever put out there are always some who have issues, for one reason or another. But I have had good experience with it and if there are issues you can uninstall it. OK…so now I have done a search with NOD 32 in safemode = 0 infections.

I am going on a motorcycletrip for a week and my fianceé will use this computer while I´m gone.
It feels ok, stable…no strange behaviour at all. Do you think it´s OK and clean?

The scan in safemode with NOD32 didn´t take long though - and that bothers me a bit.
Maybe it didn´t scan deep enough?

Did you set NOD32 to do a complete system scan? How big is your hard drive and how much data do you have. Obviously the less you have the shorter it will take.
You should be pretty good here….I think you as safe as you would be with a fresh install.
