[Resolved] Please Help! this is my Logs from HijackThis how t

Hello everyone, I had a virus that no antivirus and spyware can clean, and i finally found that the virus is in my C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE. but then non antivirus can remove it. they said they can't find the object.
whenever i open my IE, it will not load anywebsite or crash with few new IE open. and IE sometimes will connect to some website that i don't know. (http://83.149.75.33/info.png?cmp=ghrnc_return&uid=3944DE5E172211DD9CB0152726CFFFFF&guid=1F664DDBB66A4DDBBB898D5AF3DCEE36&affid=152290&lid=http&z=us)
i also know there is a (adware.win32.superjuan.bdb) in my computer too. i didn't know if it has been removed.
i heard that HijackThis can remove it and restore my computer to normal so i want to give it a try. Please Anyone Help !!

Hi peterlu84 and welcome to the forums.

My name is Dave. I would be glad to take a look at your log and help you with solving any malware problems. HijackThis logs can sometimes take a while to research so please be patient and I'd be grateful if you would note the following:
  • I will working be on your Malware issues, this may or may not, solve other issues you have with your machine.
  • The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for this issue on this machine.
  • Please continue to review my answers until I tell you your machine appears to be clear. Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.
  • It's often worth reading through these instructions and printing them for ease of reference.
  • If you don't know or understand something, please don't hesitate to say or ask!! It's better to be sure and safe than sorry.
  • Please reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.
  • I recommend you make a backup of any data that you have created, such as documents, pictures, music, ect… before we begin the fix.

Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.

**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**
  • Please, never rename Combofix unless instructed.
  • Close any open browsers.
  • Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

    ———————————————————–

    • Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
    • Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.

    • Close any open browsers.
    • WARNING: Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet as soon as it starts
    • Please do not attempt to re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.
    • If there is no internet connection after running Combofix, then restart your computer to restore back your connection.

  • Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it will produce a report for you.
  • Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review.
**Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall**

Thanks Dave,
First of all, i want to mention, I used superantispyware and CClean to clean my computer, now it seem work fine. the IE won't go crazy, and automatic go to the websites that i don't know.
Although, it seems fine! but i feel my computer is not as fast as before, Maybe i'm using Spyware Doctor, Superantispyware, and Kaspersky Internet Security the same time they have conflic? or My computer still infected with virus? or any trouble? IE sometimes take longer time than before to open websites as i feel. And, sometimes some computer software will freezed for a short while. Here is my new Hijackthis log. Please help me take a look for it! oh also, Do you still want me to use the ComboFix? if so please tell me i will do it when i see your reply.
Another thing! i really want to learn how to look at the logs and know the problems!? do you have any idea or can teach me a little?!

Hi,

Yes looks better. I don't think we need to run combofix now. As far as the sluggishness is concerned, I'll give you some links with some ideas below. There are also a couple of BHO's left over from Norton that can be removed as it doesn't appear your running Norton any more.

Run HijackThis. Click Do a System Scan Only. Put a Check in the box on the left side on these:

O2 - BHO: NCO 2.0 IE BHO - {602ADB0E-4AFF-4217-8AA1-95DAC4DFA408} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: Symantec Intrusion Prevention - {6D53EC84-6AAE-4787-AEEE-F4628F01010C} - (no file)

Then close all windows except HijackThis and press Fix checked.

Update Java Runtime:

You are using an old version of Java. Sun's Java is sometimes updated in order to eliminate the exploitation of vulnerabilities in an existing version. For this reason, it's extremely important that you keep the program up to date, and also remove the older more vulnerable versions from your system. The most current version of Sun Java is: Java Runtime Environment Version 6 Update 6.
  • Go to the Sun Java Website
  • Click on the download button next to Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 6
  • Check the circle next to I agree to the Java SE Runtime Environment 6 License Agreement.
  • Click on the link Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language and save the downloaded file to your hard disk.
  • Go to Start => Control Panel => Add or Remove Programs
  • Uninstall all old versions of Java (Java 2 Runtime Environment, JRE or JSE)
  • Reboot your computer
  • Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Java if present
  • Install the new version by running the newly-downloaded file, and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Reboot your computer

Dave, I really appreciate your help. My computer seem work better! I updated my JAVA and now i'm only running only PC Spyware Doctor and Kaspersky. I'm wondering. After i click Fix Checked, will those file gone away? it seems not. after i click Fix Checked, and restart, these files is still in the log. Wow Thanks alot Dave. I actually learn alot after joining this forum. Now my computer seems running normal. i will try to do some disk clean and defragment see if it can be faster. actually another question come up. do i have to always use HijackThis to check my computer? and why I can still find virus(trojan) when i do scan using spyware doctor or superantispyware even i put them on all the time with kaspersky internet security? they didn't recognized it when it come to my computer? These programs work by recognizing a virus or malware signature. When malware first hits many times these programs do not yet have the signatures. That's why it's important to get updates every day. But even with that malware can still get by. There are some other free programs that can help and do not use significant resources. Here you go….

Install SpywareBlaster - SpywareBlaster will added a large list of programs and sites into your Internet Explorer settings that will protect you from running and downloading known malicious programs.

Update all of your Anti-Malware programs regularly - Make sure you update all the programs I have listed and the ones you are currently running regularly. Without regular updates you Will Not be protected when new malicious programs are released.

Dave. Its good to know those things because i used to install active control all the time when i see a sign that asked me to. I think that was where i got most of the virus. If i install spywareguard, spywareblaster, and Zoned Out to run with my PC spyware Doctor and kaspersky internet security. will it make my computer slower and my internet surfing sluggish? Since i will be running 5 programs to check the wetsite. or will they have conflics? Or i shouldn't use them all at the same time? Actually my Pc Spyware Doctor have On Guard protection, is it good as Spywaregurad? Sorry for so much questions. I'm always curious. Thanks for the links and freeware. and suggestions

Those programs won't slow you down much or none at all. And there shouldn't be any conflicts, they are what I use on several PC's without issue. You can always remove them or stop them from starting up if you run into issues. It's all about experimentation and if you are looking to get into doing this then you will want to at least test out and play with all of the tools you advise. Good luck in the school, Dave
